This demo is an example of a music visualizer made using the SoundMixer.computeSpectrum() method in AS3. The code is mainly based on an example from the excellent book 'AS3 Image Effects' by Todd Yard, but adds a few extra elements and bitmap effects to take it in a slightly different direction.

The music was created using the Hobnox AudioTool and it's totally amazing ToneMatrix setup.

Controls

This music visualizer follows the mouse around the screen.
